| Typical Call Shop scenarios Pre-Paid • Customer walks into Call shop location • Customer pre-pays the operator for the call he/she would like to make • The operator activates a phone and account by adding credits to the account using a software billing system • Customer goes to an available phone booth (in the call shop) and uses the account & phone to make a call • Billing Software controls the duration that the customer can talk for and also generates a receipt/invoice for the customer when the call is completed • Customer pays operator for the cost of the call(s) Post-Paid Call shops based on the traditional PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) are now being replaced with VoIP enabled Call shops worldwide.
