| Q: What is a Virtual Calling Card? A: A Virtual Calling Card is an environmentally friendly and easy to access online calling card. The Virtual Calling Card, unlike traditional calling cards, is based on callingminutes rather than set amounts. Virtual Claling Cards also never wear out and can be accessed from any computer with a reliable internet connection. Calling Questions |
||||
| Q: Can I track all my calls? A: Yes, all calls made from your account can be tracked up to the minute by logging into your account and clicking the, "CALL HISTORY" link on the top of the page. The call history will display call hiistory by the month as well as number of calls, the average rate, minutes used, total time, total cost and the ASR (VoIP quality measurement). Q: How do I dial an International phone number? A: Dialing an international number is easy adn works the same way an analog phone works. From a touchtone phone, once you hear a dial tone, enter the county code and the number. You may have to wait up to 15 seconds for the call to complete as the call is routed through the internet and may take longer than expceted. In most cases, the call will connect faster than analog lines. Q: Why does my VoIP phone sound broken up when I call? A: The one down side to VoIP is that it relies on the internet to communicate, And while internet has come a long way, there are still issues with reliability as it applies to the end users, but not at the source. We suggest resetting your phone or ATA box first and foremost. Some IP phones also offer filter and other speed and encoding adjustments to help fix this and other bandwidth issues. See your manufacturers website or user guide for more information. You may also contact your internet provider and explore greater bandwidth options or othe fixes to address the phone issue(s). The good news is that many communities and cities around the world are going wireless, so your phone's connection will be as reliable or more so than your current cell phone connection. |
